Flame Creeper Plant – Tropaeolum Speciosum
The Tropaeolum Speciosum plant is also known as the Flame Creeper Plant due to the bright red flowers it produces.
As a hardy herbaceous climber, it can grow up to 3 metres and this climber can grow through other plants where it flowers easily.
When grown through evergreens the result is particularly colourful with the contrast of red and green.
As a climber, it grows fairly fast and flowers appear in the Summer & Autumn.
The plant is also known as the “Scottish Flame Flower” as it grows particularly well in Scotland.
