New Limerick centre

Clarenbridge Garden Centre was established in 2004 by David Farragher, a graduate of Kildalton Horticultural College in Co. Kilkenny. Passionate about gardening, David pursued his dream and set up his very own unique garden centre in the picturesque village of Clarenbridge, Co. Galway.
Something Different is the motto of Clarenbridge Garden Centre, which is experienced from the moment you enter the shops; to the moment you go home happy with the spoils of the day. This is not only meant for material things you can buy in the shops but it is also reflected in their impeccable customer service and the pleasure of strolling around the gardens admiring the views.
After 15 beautiful years of history, in February of 2019, the opportunity to expand the business in the scenic Youghal presented itself and a second branch was established in Blackwater region, Co. Waterford. There, you’ll find stunning plants, glorious views, and an incredible cafe.
The garden centre specialises in exotic plants, native and unusual trees, high-quality outdoor furniture, exclusive décor items, flowers, and pots. The displays are enchanting, inspiring awe in the visitors.

“A great part of our customers are based in Co. Clare and Co. Limerick, so we’ve been looking for an ideal site for a long time… it wasn’t easy to find a place that would reflect the uniqueness of our garden centre, and when it finally happened we were thrilled with the opportunity to once again expand the business” David Farragher.
Located in Glebe, Old Schoolhouse, Co. Limerick (V94 WE16), Clarenbridge Garden Centre Limerick will open in the first months of 2023. The opening of this new shop will create employment in this rural area on the edge of Limerick City and a different garden centre experience for customers of the region.
“Our continuous growth reflects the confidence that we have in our family-oriented Irish business, the hard work and commitment of our existing team, the trust our customers invest in us, the unique nature of our shops, and our will to bring something different to the Limerick region” David Farragher.
