Originating in England in the early 19th century, this tree is prized for its heavy cropping and robust nature, thriving in temperate climates. It’s a vigorous grower, producing abundant fruit that’s ideal for pies, sauces, and other culinary delights.

Pollination Group 3. Self-sterile. Can be cross-pollinated with varieties from adjacent pollination groups (2,3,4). Charles Ross would be a good pollinating Partner.
