Malus domestica ‘Jonagold’ is a dessert apple with a sweet/sharp flavour. A small to medium-sized tree. The large fruit is attractive with a red flush and stripes over gold with a crisp, honeyed taste. A vigorous cultivar, it has heavy, regular crops that store well and can be used from November through to January/February.
Pollination Group 3. Can be cross-pollinated with varieties from adjacent pollination groups (2,3,4). 2-Year-old tree – Supplied on a M26 rootstock. The tree will eventually reach a height of 3-4M.
