Laurel Caucasica
Prunus laurocerasus ‘Caucasica’ or Caucasian Laurel is an evergreen shrub very similar to the Common or Cherry Laurel. It has shiny green leaves which are longer in form to those of the Cherry Laurel. It makes a good dense border hedge, and is ideal for screening. It produces white fragrant flowers in spring that attract bees. The flowers are followed by red berries, which ripen to black and are a favourite with foraging birds, giving Laurel ‘Caucasica’ hedge plants wildlife interest
