Clematis Montana Grandiflora
Clematis montana Grandiflora, commonly known as Grandiflora or Anemone Clematis, is a vigorous, deciduous climbing plant. With its abundant and beautiful flowers, it is a popular choice for covering walls, fences, pergolas, and other structures in gardens. Grandiflora is a fast-growing vine that can reach impressive heights, often climbing up to 12M, depending on the growing conditions. The foliage is made up of glossy, dark green leaves, which serve as an attractive backdrop for the stunning flowers. These blooms typically appear in late spring to early summer, creating a breathtaking display of fragrant, pure white cascading blossoms. The flowers have a delicate, airy feel, resembling the appearance of anemone flowers, hence the alternative name “Anemone Clematis.”
