Citrus Orange Tree
Citrus sinensis Orange. This small Citrus orange tree will flower and produce fruit throughout the year. Fragrant white flowers are followed by edible fruit – perfect for eating, or juicing! Citrus are not hardy in Ireland, so should be grown primarily indoors. However, it can be grown in pots outdoors in summer and brought inside for the winter. The fragrant flowers appear all year round, but are especially abundant in late winter, and fruit ripens up to 12 months later, so they often flower and fruit at the same time. Note: Photo for illustrative purpose, the plant is not supplied in a terracotta pot.
