Ficus Carica Dauphine. Also known as ‘Grise de Tarascon‘ or Violette Dauphine Fig. A self-fertile variety that is very hardy.  It is quite vigorous in growth and very productive. Itslarge fruit is violet-dark blue in colour with a slight velvety grey covering, and has a sweet pink flesh.
