Dierama Pulcherrimum

Dierama pulcherrimum, commonly known as the Angel’s Fishing Rod, is an elegant perennial plant renowned for its graceful, drooping, bell-shaped flowers that dangle from slender, arching stems. Native to South Africa, this plant belongs to the Iridaceae family and typically thrives in well-draining soils and full sun. The pendulous flowers, in shades of pink, bloom in summer, creating a charming and whimsical display reminiscent of hanging wands or fishing rods. Its slender, grass-like foliage adds to its delicate appearance, making it a sought-after ornamental addition to gardens or landscapes. Grows to around 1.5 meters in height.
