Callistemon Splendens

Callistemon splendens, commonly known as the scarlet bottlebrush, is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to Australia. It features striking, bright red, cylindrical flower spikes that resemble a bottle brush, blooming mainly in the spring and summer. The plant has narrow, lance-shaped leaves that are aromatic when crushed. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and is drought-tolerant once established, making it a popular choice for ornamental gardens and landscaping. Its vibrant flowers attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

Position: Sunny sheltered position.

Soil Ph: Acid – Neutral.

Moisture: Well drained. Moist, but well drained.
