An upright, bushy, deciduous shrub with broad, dark green leaves and an abundance of large blue flower clusters with accents of green will appear throughout the summer, often flowering into autumn. To keep Blue Ballad blue, acidic soil is required. Grow it in a container of ericaceous compost if your soil is alkaline. Hortensia – mophead variety.
