Hydrangea ‘Magical Jewel Blue’
Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Magical Jewel Blue’. A rounded, deciduous shrub with dark green, oval leaves. Forming part of a new range of colour-changing hydrangeas – The ‘Magical’ range are bred to change colours as the summer progress into autumn. Beautiful, large mophead flowers appear from June through to September, the flowers of this striking hydrangea are initially lime-green as they open, but gradually develop through shades of blue, purple and green until eventually turning purple-red in autumn. Colours will vary depending on the pH of the soil. This amazing variety has a very compact and easy-to-manage habit, making it the ideal subject for patio containers.
