Allium Globemaster
Allium ‘Globemaster’ is a striking ornamental onion known for its large, spherical clusters of tiny, star-shaped, purple flowers. These flower heads can grow up to 20cm in diameter and sit atop tall, sturdy stems, often reaching 80cm in height. The blooms appear in late spring to early summer and last for several weeks, attracting bees and other pollinators. The plant’s foliage is composed of broad, strap-like leaves that begin to die back as the flowers bloom, allowing the stunning globes to take centre stage in the garden.
