Dichelostemma ‘Ida Maia,’ commonly known as the firecracker plant or firecracker flower, is a bulbous perennial native to California and Oregon. It features striking, tubular, crimson flowers with greenish-white tips that hang in clusters atop tall, slender stems, typically blooming in late spring to early summer. It thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, making it a popular choice for wildflower gardens and naturalized settings. Its unique, colourful appearance adds a bold accent to any landscape.  Flowers in June-July. Height: 50CM approx.
