Crocus Golden Yellow
Crocus ‘Golden Yellow’ is a vibrant, early-flowering perennial known for its striking, deep yellow blooms. Belonging to the Iridaceae family, this variety is often among the first to appear in spring, adding a splash of colour to gardens. The cup-shaped flowers are low-growing, typically reaching about 8-10cm in height, and have slender, grass-like leaves. ‘Golden Yellow’ crocuses thrive in well-drained soil and full sun, making them ideal for borders, rock gardens, or naturalizing in lawns. Their bright colour and early blooming make them a favourite for bringing cheer to late winter and early spring landscapes.
Height: 8-10cm approx. Plant 5cm apart in a sunny or part shady position. Flower: Feb-March.
