Crocus Jeanne d’Arc

Crocus × cultorum ‘Jeanne d’Arc’. This beautiful and delicate spring-flowering bulbous plant is known for its elegant white blossoms. Each flower features six petals that surround a central golden-yellow throat, creating a striking contrast. The petals have a slightly pointed shape and are arranged in a cup-like formation. ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ crocus flowers emerge from the ground on slender stems, usually, one flower per stem, making them appear graceful and dainty. The plant features grass-like, slender green leaves that emerge from the base of the plant before or around the same time as the flowers. These leaves are relatively inconspicuous and provide a nice backdrop for its striking white blossoms.

This variety of crocus typically blooms in early to mid-spring, adding a touch of charm and brightness to gardens, lawns, and flower beds. It’s a popular choice for those looking to welcome the first signs of spring with its pristine white blooms.

Height:10-15cm approx.  Plant 7cm apart in a sunny or shady position. Flower: Feb-March.
