Crocus Orange Monarch
The Crocus ‘Orange Monarch’ is a striking, early-blooming perennial known for its vibrant, deep orange petals with contrasting dark purple or brown veins. This small yet vivid flower typically appears in late winter to early spring, adding a splash of colour to gardens when few other plants are in bloom. The plant’s slender, grass-like leaves emerge alongside the blossoms, making it a popular choice for borders, rock gardens, and containers. It’s hardy and thrives in well-drained soil, often naturalizing in lawns or woodland settings.
Height: 8-10cm approx. Plant 5cm apart in a sunny or part shady position. Flower: Feb-March.
