Tulip Greigii Peacock Mix

Tulipa greigii Peacock Mix is a captivating and colourful variety of tulip known for its unique and striking appearance. This mix features a range of tulip bulbs from the Greigii group, a category of tulips known for their distinctive characteristics. The mix typically includes shades of red, orange, yellow, and even bi-coloured varieties, creating a vibrant and eye-catching display.

One of the distinguishing features of Greigii tulips, including those in the ‘Peacock Mix,’ is their marbled and mottled foliage. The leaves are often attractively marked with patterns resembling the feathers of a peacock, which adds to the overall visual appeal of the plant. These lovely little tulips generally grow to around 25cm. This makes them suitable for planting in various garden settings, from borders and flower beds to containers and rock gardens.

Height: 20-25cm approx. Plant 15cm apart in a sunny position. Flowers in March-April.
