Anemone St Brigid

The Anemone St. Brigid, is a captivating and charming flowering plant that belongs to the Ranunculaceae family. Its name is derived from the Greek word “anemos,” which means wind, alluding to its tendency to sway gracefully in the breeze.  The Anemone St. Brigid features an array of large, vibrant, and semi-double to double flowers that bloom in an assortment of striking colours. These colours range from pure white, soft pastels, and subtle pinks to deeper shades of red, purple, and blue. Each flower consists of several layers of petals, creating a lush and visually captivating display. The foliage is equally attractive, with deeply lobed and finely dissected leaves that form a lush carpet beneath the blossoms. The contrasting combination of the intricate foliage and the bold, colourful flowers adds to its overall visual appeal.

Anemone St. Brigid is a spring-blooming plant, often seen gracing gardens, borders, and containers as it heralds the arrival of the warmer seasons.
