Malus Summerred
Malus domestica ‘Summerred’ is a cultivar of apple tree known for its beautiful appearance and delicious fruit. This is a medium-sized apple tree, typically reaching a height of 3.5 to 4.5 meters when fully mature. The tree has a rounded, spreading canopy that provides ample shade and makes it an attractive ornamental addition to gardens and landscapes.
In the spring, the tree produces lovely, fragrant white or pale pink blossoms, which not only add to its visual appeal but also attract pollinators.
The apples are medium-sized and round, often with a bright red blush on a yellow-green background, and are sweet with a slightly tart flavour profile. They are excellent for fresh eating and are also suitable for cooking.
Pollination Group 2. Can be cross-pollinated with varieties from adjacent pollination groups (1,2,3). Charles Ross would be a good pollinating Partner.
