Sorbus aucuparia. The Mountain Ash or Rowan tree is an upright deciduous tree with green foliage turning yellow in autumn, and flat clusters of white flowers in late spring, followed by orange-red berries in early autumn. It is native to Ireland, and is widely seen growing wild in the countryside as well as in gardens all over the country.
