Magnolia Soulangeana Superba

Magnolia soulangeana ‘Superba’ is a deciduous hybrid magnolia known for its stunning, large, cup-shaped flowers that are typically pink to purplish-pink on the outside and white on the inside. This ornamental tree or large shrub blooms in early to mid-spring, creating a spectacular display before the leaves emerge. It is more free flowering than the popular Magnolia Soulangeana and also flowers more freely from a younger age. It can grow up to 8 meters tall, making it a striking focal point in gardens and landscapes. ‘Superba’ is appreciated for its robust growth, attractive foliage, and resistance to pests and diseases, thriving best in well-drained, slightly acidic soil and full sun to partial shade.
