Acer palmatum ‘Bi Hō’ is a cultivar of Japanese maple known for its striking aesthetic appeal. This small deciduous tree features delicate, yellow-green lobed leaves that emerge in spring with a salmon-pink flush and turn shades of yellow and orange in the autumn before falling to reveal the golden-yellow and orange coloured stems. This vibrant yellow-green bark, adds visual interest during the winter months when the tree is bare. ‘Bi Hō’ thrives in well-drained soil with partial shade and is often used as a focal point in gardens for its unique year-round beauty.
