Butia Capitata. The Jelly Palm is relatively slow growing, with attractive arching green-blue leaves. Its edible fruits are sweet and taste similar to apricots, they are often used to produce sweet jellies in it’s native country, hence the name Jelly Palm. One of the hardiest feather palms, it can be grown outdoors in sheltered gardens where it may tolerate -10°C. It also makes an excellent container plant. Butia Capitata
