Lonicera Caerulea Borealis. Canadian Honey Berry – A deciduous shrub with oval green leaves, and small white flowers in late spring and early summer. Flowers are followed by edible berries, which are blue-black and oblong-shaped, and develop a white bloom when ready for harvesting. The honeyberry is an uncommon flavour here, but it is delicious, tasting much like a cross between blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, but with a slight tartness. They are extremely hardy.
