How Clarenbridge Garden Centre started

Clarenbridge Garden Centre was set up in 2004 by David Farragher, a graduate of Kildalton Horticultural College in Co. Kilkenny.
Gardening was in David’s blood since childhood when David’s grandfather – Tim Power introduced David to gardening at the tender age of 5, at his railway cottage garden in Athenry (Galway) and there the love of gardening began.
David pursued this love of gardening, making it his career and eventually setting up his very own garden centre in the picturesque village of Clarenbridge in County Galway. The garden centre has expanded over the past ten years and now stocks all things gardening related.
For People Who Love Plants
Clarenbridge Garden Centre was established in 2004 by David Farragher, a graduate of Kildalton Horticultural College in Co. Kilkenny. Passionate about gardening, David pursued his dream and set up his very own unique garden centre in the picturesque village of Clarenbridge, Co. Galway.
Something Different is the motto of Clarenbridge Garden Centre, which is experienced from the moment you enter the shops; to the moment you go home happy with the spoils of the day. This is not only meant for material things you can buy in the shops but it is also reflected in their impeccable customer service and the pleasure of strolling around the gardens admiring the views.
The garden centre specialises in exotic plants, native and unusual trees, high-quality outdoor furniture, exclusive décor items, flowers, and pots. The displays are enchanting, inspiring awe in the visitors.
