Nandina domestica ‘Obsessed’  also known as Heavenly Bamboo ‘Obsesses’ is a compact, evergreen shrub known for its striking foliage and graceful form. This cultivar typically grows to around 70cm tall and wide, making it an excellent choice for smaller gardens or containers. Its new growth emerges a vibrant red, maturing to a rich green with red highlights, creating a dynamic display throughout the seasons. In autumn and winter, the foliage often takes on shades of bronze and red, adding warmth to the landscape. The conical clusters of white flowers it produces in midsummer are also pretty and add further to the plant’s appeal. ‘Obsessed’ is prized for its low maintenance needs and its ability to thrive in a variety of conditions, from full sun to partial shade, making it a versatile and attractive addition to any garden.
