Cyathea Cooperi
Cyathea cooperi, commonly known as Cooper’s tree fern or the lacy tree fern, is a stunning fern species native to Australia. It is characterized by its large, arching fronds that can reach up to 4 meters in length (in optimum conditions). The fronds are deeply lobed and have a lacy appearance, giving the plant an elegant and tropical look. Cyathea cooperi is commonly used as an ornamental plant in gardens and landscapes, where it thrives in moist, shady conditions. It is a fast-growing plant that can eventually reach heights of around 10 meters in optimum conditions. As this variety of tree fern isn’t fully hardy, it would be ideal for a conservatory or kept as a potted plant in a very sheltered garden.
