Lavandula angustifolia ‘Munstead’. English Lavender ‘Munstead’. a compact evergreen shrub with narrow, grey-green foliage and spikes of small, highly-fragrant, blue-purple flowers – attractive to bees and other pollinators in mid to late summer. It’s a popular lavender for gravel gardens, as well as edging paths and borders – when you brush past it the aromas from its foliage are released.
